It’s a farm in the middle of nowhere. The lady was nice and helpful, but the shared bathroom was inconvenient, especially the rooftop one with its sloping ceiling. The mattresses were impossibly thin, and the springs were terribly uncomfortable.

We were only stopping overnight while passing through, so the TV’s monitor-sized screen and limited channels didn’t matter much. The staff were polite and helpful, and we got an extra treat with a nice breakfast extending our stay. The place is clean and tidy, in lovely surroundings, and the area is quiet with no traffic. We left with a pleasant impression and more than we expected.

We had stayed here several times before, so this was especially frustrating. We booked three weeks ahead, but in the morning we couldn’t move into the room because it was still being cleaned. We completed the paperwork while waiting, then got a call saying their large group had brought one more person and they couldn’t fit us in after all. They told us to find somewhere else. We couldn’t find any other accommodation, and this caused us harm. Since we booked by phone, I’d advise everyone to get written confirmation. They treated us unfairly, and we definitely won’t stay here again.

A quiet place to unwind, with food made locally. I really liked it.

We enjoyed a few days in a peaceful, cultured setting. The staff were great, and I’d happily recommend the guesthouse.
