Pubs, cafes, and bistros cluster around this little square and along Simonffy pedestrian street, all in a lovely setting. There's a fountain with water jets in the middle, and the square is small but thoughtfully designed. It's one of Debrecen's most atmospheric corners, always lively, and for good reason.

The water play is a big hit with the kids, especially when the lights are on, though adults enjoy it too. There's a pleasant downtown feel and lovely buildings, plus plenty to eat: gyros, French tacos, hamburgers, and more. You can also find all kinds of beer and wine.
