The owners were very kind, and breakfast was tasty and generous, though served early. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, but the beds, especially the pillows, could use replacing. It’s good value for money and well placed near the castle. The town centre is about a 10-minute walk, while the train station is around 30 minutes away.

For a budget-friendly stay, this was good value for the price, and I’d recommend it if you want a getaway without spending a lot. Everything was within walking distance, the rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and there was private parking. The interior is a bit dated and could use refurbishment, but this is an affordable option, not a multi-star hotel.

Breakfasts were delicious, and the staff were really nice. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the place had a great atmosphere, especially the backyard with its giant rentable bathtub. Prices were decent too. It’s about a five-minute walk from one of the main walking streets and the main square.

The owners were genuinely caring, very kind, and friendly. Breakfast was nice, with honey and freshly squeezed lemon for tea as a particularly welcome touch. There’s a closed private parking area. The old part of Eger is a great location, and it was an easygoing place to stay for a few days.

A nice hotel with a really good price and a good breakfast. They even left a map in the room in Dutch.
