We arrived at the hotel at 23:00 on June 2 after booking a room, but the reception door was shut even though they say reception is open 24/7. There was a card with three phone numbers on the door, and none of them worked. We stood there for half an hour feeling like idiots, then had to leave and find somewhere else to stay. Thank goodness we hadn’t paid in advance. Terrible service. We were exhausted after a long drive and still couldn’t get any rest.

We had a lovely stay at Bajor Panzió with my family in the Gold private suite. Laszlo helped with the booking and took care of every request. Check-in was easy, and the apartment was clean and spacious. It felt a bit cold when we arrived, but the AC warmed the room up quickly. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and Szilvia was happy to help if we wanted anything else. We’ll definitely be back!

We booked a room in April for July and paid a deposit. We had to cancel because of circumstances, and when we made the reservation, we were told the deposit would be returned. They promised several times, but the money still hasn’t come back, and our emails are no longer being answered. A strange way to do business!

The place still feels worth what you pay, but it's showing its age. Two years of Covid clearly took a toll: some furniture is broken and the electrical sockets are battered. Breakfast options are limited on weekdays. The staff are friendly, though they seem tired.

We enjoyed the generous, delicious meals, and the restaurant staff were friendly too. Our room was clean and pleasant, and everyone we met was welcoming. I'd recommend staying here with children as well.
