The offer for a couple was amazing. Our double bed room had a balcony, and the shared bathrooms and toilets were good quality. There was also a kitchen where you could cook whatever you wanted and make hot drinks like coffee or tea. The room was on a different floor from registration, which gave us more privacy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The host was reasonably priced, in a very good spot for reaching the places we visited, but quiet enough to get a proper rest. The biggest shopping mall was about a 5 minute walk away, and it was also not far from the centre, Budapest Eye, and Basilica.

It's a very nice, clean place, close to the old jewish center with lots of pubs and clubs, and also near the river. But the street noise is so loud you can forget about sleeping late in the morning.

The price is among the lowest in the area, and the conditions seem fair for what you pay. I loved the design, with work by young Hungarian artists throughout, and that slightly old-fashioned feel with high ceilings. The hostel has a bit of a hip vibe. The bathroom could be cleaner and more modern, though. Staff are helpful and know a lot about tourist things. I also really appreciate that they sort the trash for recycling, which not many hostels do. The location works well too, just a few minutes from Margaret Island, a lovely place to relax in summer.

For 3500 forint, about 11 euro, this was amazing value. I only stayed one night, but the bathroom was clean and the bed sheets were fresh. It's also well located, near one of the bridges next to the parlament.
