A quiet place with a nice, clean room, a good kitchen, and two toilets on the floor. The “receptionist” was odd, but everything else was perfect. Drivers should know that parking in front of the hotel costs money, or you could get a 2135 forints ticket. Not sure which option is better :-)
The rooms are large and clean, and the staff are friendly. Getting to the city center by tram or bus is easy, but the airport can take up to 90 minutes on public transport, for example, routes 9, M3, and E200. Our room was near the bathroom, with thin walls, so we couldn’t sleep until everyone had finished using it. Other rooms are better. The internet only worked near reception.
The room was spacious, came with a fan, and the initial price was good. There’s also what might be the best bakery in the world around the corner, plus a bed cinema. But the shower was broken, the walls were paper thin, and the pillows were torn with stuffing coming out. They charged extra when we arrived, and the greeting and atmosphere felt less welcoming or accommodating than other Airbnbs. I guess you get what you pay for.
The shared kitchen and bathroom were quite nice, and the receptionist was really nice too. Paying cash only was a bit inconvenient.
Really private, great accommodation, and not too far from downtown. Thanks for a lovely weekend. We’ll surely visit again.
