Agape Apartments

We’d booked months ahead and specified three guests, two adults and a teenager, but the room was really cramped. With the sofa bed opened, there was hardly room for even one person to move around. After three days we had to ask for fresh towels and at least a quick sweep. They did some cleaning that afternoon. The stay wasn’t the worst, but there’s plenty they could improve.

The rooms have enough comfort for a couple of days, maybe two or three, and seem mostly suited to students. If you want a hotel feel, this probably isn’t for you. The location is fairly close to the center, but the street feels dirty, with unpleasant food and oil smells coming from the cafes downstairs and too much noise from students in the neighborhood. Also, most door locks have problems, and check-in happens later than the stated usual time.

The location is excellent, close to everything, but the rooms are very basic and the bedding was stained. You get what you pay for. There’s little service, and reception was empty except when I checked in. You’re supposed to be able to book an airport transfer ahead, but that wasn’t possible because nobody was at reception.

We had a lovely large room in a great location. The staff were very helpful, even keeping our bags for us since our flight was late. Breakfast at the ibis, just a minute’s walk away, was great.
