There are bars and hipster food spots right by the entrance, and the room itself is great. The woman running the place came across a little odd and very urgent in how she spoke, but don’t let that put you off.

Feels comfortable, almost like home. I’ve stayed here twice, and I prefer the garden-level rooms so I can enjoy the garden.

Good prices and a great spot. I’ll book here again for sure.

It’s easy enough to find, though with luggage it’s about a 15-minute walk to the subway, which felt a bit far. From the street, the building looks more like a private home than a hotel or restaurant, and there’s a security guard on the first floor. The neighborhood is handy for food and supermarkets, and the price feels fair. There’s a ruined bar across the road that gets noisy at night, but our room wasn’t street-facing, so it didn’t bother us. The room was a little old but clean, and the portable air conditioner was somewhat weak.

The beds are very good, though the sofa beds are small and uncomfortable for two people. If you’re four adults, I’d go for a two-bedroom apartment. Also, rooms facing the street get very noisy, while the interior-facing ones are perfect.
