Hotel Estella Superior

The room had no kettle or drinking water. Breakfast was okay, but the servers are university students, so don't expect professional service. Most of the staff are students too, and unfortunately some don't speak English.

The hotel's best feature is its location, which earns it three stars from me. It's on the sixth floor of an old building from socialist times, although the entire floor has been renovated. Students from a hotel school work there. With the temperature at 28°C, the lack of working air conditioning made our stay miserable. Breakfast was a very basic buffet, and exactly the same for both days. There were three juice options and five different coffees, which were pluses, but otherwise it was poor. Parking is reasonably priced at €4 per day, if there's a space. If those problems don't put you off, this might suit you. Otherwise, avoid it like fire.

A good value place for a holiday, with friendly staff and tidy, clean rooms. It's run by the university as practical training for students in Hotel Management. The location is great, within walking distance of the thermal bath and Dobo ter, right in the town center. The air conditioning kept the room cool even in extreme heat. Highly recommended.

The location couldn't be better, around 400-500 meters from Eger termal baths. The beds were a little shaky but comfortable. Breakfast was good, if not especially varied, and the coffee was average. The hotel was good enough, though not perfect. Some of the staff seemed professional, while others, I think students, couldn't write out a bill.
