Strandfürdő Apartman

A retro kind of feel....

We stayed for three days in mid-October with our three children at the Egri Strandfürdő Apartman, and it all went very well. Even though the beach was already closed, the location still worked perfectly for us. It was quiet and peaceful, just a few minutes on foot from the city center and the thermal bath. The apartment was clean, modern, and equipped with everything a family might need: comfortable beds, good heating, a kitchen, wifi, and all the rest. Parking at the building was easy, and the area felt quiet and safe. Check-in was fully automatic with no in-person contact, but it went smoothly and we got all the information clearly. It was very good value for money, and we'd be happy to come back. Clean, comfortable, and family friendly.

We spent four days in the apartment and never needed to take our own car. We walked everywhere, since Eger's sights are only a few minutes away. The small train leaves every hour from the bus stop opposite and also goes to Szépasszonyvölgy. That valley is about a five-minute drive, or a taxi costs around 4-5000.- for a return trip. The apartment is near the center of Eger, with the Eger stream beside the block. There's a small shop, fornettis, and a pizzeria on the ground floor. The owner is friendly. The place is clean, well equipped, and homely, a good fit for anyone not looking for a luxury holiday. We only came back to sleep, with so much to see in Eger. It has internet and cable TV, air conditioning, and convector heating, plus several sockets in every room. The separate toilet is a plus, although it's quite small, as is one of the bedrooms, where it can be hard to move around. The apartment suits 4-6 adults. It also has a washing machine, hairdryer, iron, electric kettle (Szarvasi, Kotyogós), kettle, cooking utensils, sugar, tea, towels, and toilet paper.

The host was so kind and helpful. Our accommodation was very clean, spacious, and well equipped, and parking was free. The location was excellent, close to everything, so we did a lot of walking. We had two wonderful days. Thanks so much for everything! 🙏
