Hotel Bellevue

A beautiful spot right by the river, with a nice view and good food. Slovakia is about a 15-minute drive away. The greetings were fine, though vegetarians have fewer food options. The hotel itself is very good.

The cuisine was tasty, and the pool was a real plus, but the price didn’t feel justified. The hotel was very average, with fryer smell everywhere. I got a microscopic room, while a colleague paid the same and got a normal-sized one.

The food was terrible, the beds uncomfortable, and service from the staff was very poor. The lift wasn’t working either.

We arrived on May 25 and were put in a regular room without a balcony. It smelled bad. When we asked at reception about the superior room we had booked on May 1, the receptionist said all the superior rooms were occupied. The hotel had charged our card on May 15 for a superior room. For more than 10 days, the hotel hadn’t replied to messages, and several calls went unanswered. The hotel administrator, Bánkuti Gabriella, couldn’t resolve the room issue. Since nobody offered us a good room, we left, and our weekend was ruined. Now we’re waiting for the hotel to return our money, because the staff handled this terribly. I don’t recommend this hotel!
