The best place in Esztergom. Highly recommend it!

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, with mattresses that seemed about 100 years old. The room and bathroom were poor quality, and the accommodation itself was terrible. Breakfast was lousy and inedible, really nothing more to say about it. I can’t understand how this pension got an operating license. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I’ve never stayed somewhere so dirty and untidy. We arrived, unpacked quickly, and went into town. When we got “home” after 10 pm, we saw the disaster in the pictures, at a point when it would have been hard to find somewhere else to stay. The shower was full of fur and hair. There was the same when I lifted the blanket, and dirt and dust were everywhere. It was nauseating. We’d paid for breakfast, but after that we packed up the next morning and didn’t even ask for it. If you can, stay far away from this place if you want what’s good for you.

We booked for two nights and stayed just one. At first they were kind, but that changed quickly when we took a closer look at the room and asked for another one. There was no point, because the conditions were the same. The floor was dirty and dusty, and the sheet was filthy, with brown-yellow stains, hair, and fur. There was a cobweb on the bedding too. I asked for a clean sheet, and that was when we finally fell out with them. The owner’s behavior was beyond criticism. When we said the next day that we were checking out, the owner said they’d thought so too. We couldn’t wait to get away. Parking is awful, though the guesthouse is in a good location. That’s its one positive. I don’t recommend it.
