The house has beautiful wooden furniture, and you can grill in the garden. We also saw several water birds, with a few lakes nearby. The setting itself is lovely, and the Danube is close, with a bike path beside it, though you have to travel 1 km along route 11 to get there. There's lots to see nearby, including the Basilica, castle, Danube Museum, coal loader, and Cat's Ladder. Further out, around 30 minutes by car, are Rám ravine, Preaching chair, Dobogókő, Moonlight gorge, and ship cemetery. We also went to Párkány for ice cream and to see the Basilica from across the Danube.

The holiday home is in a great spot, surrounded by greenery, and the facilities are adequate. But the interior felt oppressive to me, so I wasn't comfortable there. Anyone who can get past that might be happy with it. I still have pain in my leg two weeks later from the log sticking out by the bed. 😡

The host was very kind, and the private accommodation had a well-equipped kitchen and barbecue facilities. It's in beautiful surroundings with hiking nearby. We could get to several shops and stores easily and quickly by car.
