Since the leadership changed, things have been as they should be. Thank God!

I came by to get my Pest County Red Trail stamp. The building looked well kept and nice, and seemed quite large from outside. The people working there were very nice and helpful.

We had a good stay, and I hope the team keeps up the work. The new manager has clearly been strict about the shortcomings people mention on Google Maps. Our room smelled good, the bed linens were new, and I saw no mold. The food was plentiful and delicious, with none of that ordinary, run-of-the-mill feel. Staff were friendly and smiling. There are thoughtful small touches too: glasses in the rooms, a hand sink outside the dining room, and nicely finished towels. Our new pine furniture suited the room perfectly. There are still things to sort out. Our room had no coat hanger because the old one had been taken down and not yet replaced or repaired. That was about the only room issue, though you can hear the floors creak between rooms. Fixing that will probably take a long time. The huge paintings brighten the staircase, while our own room was very plain, with no decorations. For a house devoted to spiritual asceticism, I can't really hold that against it. The improvements seem to be going in the right direction.

Welcoming and kind, with a family-like feel. The kitchen has gotten a lot better.
