Centrum Lux Apartman

For the price, this was a decent place and I can recommend it despite a few problems. The owner was nice and the welcome was good. We had discounts at several places as part of the reservation, which was nice, though when I asked about breakfast, it turned out to mean a café discount. The apartment was tidy, clean, comfortable, and easy to get around from. The train station and spa are about 10-15 minutes away, and there are places to visit or sit nearby. The room was cold, though, and the air conditioning and small bedroom heater struggled to warm the cold walls and floors.

The kitchen was nice and modern, as were the room and bathroom. The lady gave us the information we needed in a pleasant way, and we could come and go on foot at any hour. It was a little noisy, but we were satisfied with the value for money. I deducted a star for cleanliness. The sloped ceiling was awkward, and even at 151cm I hit my head. The bathroom could use a larger towel, and shower gel would have been welcome. The shower itself was nice, but very dirty, unstable, and not fully working.

The apartment is nicely renovated, but the bed was much too soft and narrow for two, with a rollaway bed placed in the middle. Since it’s an attic, I hit my head when getting up. The kitchen furniture looked nice, but there was no way to make coffee in the morning. Heating came from the air conditioner, which was very noisy all night, and the whole roof seemed to resonate.

We stayed at the hostel last week as verified guests, and felt very uncomfortable. The small space and low ceiling were unpleasant, and it was noisy. The water smelled very bad; the faucet was scaled up and the drain clogged. Bathroom supplies were incomplete, and the toilet had technical and operating problems. The kitchen was poorly equipped, and a glass was stuck on the shelf. Electrical sockets were coming out of the wall, along with other problems that greatly affected comfort and usability.
