The water areas are great, and the outdoor cooking spots are really good too. But the basics were frustrating: out of the four sockets in our room, only one worked, and there isn't a single power outlet anywhere else in the place. After a hike, there's nowhere to plug things in if they get dirty. The heating went off at midnight and came back around 6 am. With all four rooms occupied, hot water ran out unless you got to it quickly. The entrance doors are also very thin. The Siamese cat took up the weekend.

We had a great time at our family gathering with 15 people. The garden and enclosed yard were lovely, and everything was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a fireplace for frying bacon and making stews. The location worked very well for the event.

The duvet and pillow were swapped for anti-allergenic ones when we asked, which we appreciated. They also supplied charcoal and wood for the grill. The place was tidy, the rooms clean, and the kitchen well equipped.

It was clean and tidy, the host was kind, and pets were welcome. But we couldn't stay because it was so cold. The property hadn't been heated before we arrived, and even wearing coats we were cold. We ran the radiators at full power for hours and the temperature rose just one degree in five hours, so we had to drive home during the night. It might be a good place in summer. The parking area is a little small, though parking is possible; a larger car probably won't fit when it's full.
