Gyirmót Sport&Wellness Hotel

The location is great, and the reception staff were really welcoming. My breakfast experience was different. I sat down in one dining area, and the breakfast lady told me it was reserved for dinner, even though other guests were eating breakfast there. When I asked about that, she directed me to another area rudely, then spoke about me in Hungarian to other guests. I found it disrespectful and hope she puts things right.

Quiet, comfortable place with easy parking right there. The swimming pool is big, and the wellness area is nice.

The room's lights and cooling didn't work, and there was virtually no soundproofing. I was stuck between rooms with a group of children making a huge racket. The front desk said they knew about the noise, but nothing changed. Breakfast was just eggs, sausages and some yogurt, about as bad as it gets. There aren't any shops within walking distance either. I had a terrible stay and got almost no sleep. If that's what you're after, this place is perfect. Wouldn't recommend it.

A simple, functional sports hotel, so don't expect carpeted rooms. Mine was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed that was on the firm side. The welcome was warm, and parking was free and felt safe. There's a lit walking path around the lake behind the hotel, and a pool and wellness area too. Breakfast had a good selection, from cheese and cold cuts to French toast and hot dishes, plus cereal. The coffee from the machine could be better. We'd come back if we're in the area. ❤️ Recommend.
