The receptionist was friendly, polite and helpful, and the location was great. It was also very quiet at night. I was here for one night before catching a transfer to the airport from Győr, and only had breakfast without using the other services. My basic room was fine, with a very comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV and a safe. The furniture was dated, but that didn't bother me. The en suite was nearly as large as the room. Towels were supplied, though there was only hand wash, no shower gel or shampoo. The room had air conditioning, but I couldn't shut the window fully and woke up covered in mosquito bites. The room and bathroom were clean, with a strong Domestos smell when I entered. The marks in the shower looked like damage rather than dirt that could be cleaned off. Breakfast was okay: freshly fried and scrambled eggs, frankfurters, fresh bakery items, and cold options such as salami, cheese and tomato.

Clean and welcoming, with a very kind woman at reception. Check-in was available until 11:00 PM. I recommend it.

We had a pleasant time in Győr and got to see the renovated downtown and the bishop's castle. Thanks to the Corvin Hotel staff for their great help. The hotel is right in the city center, with everything within walking distance, and it’s very good value for money. There’s a private car park, multi-channel TV and a genuinely quiet setting.

I slept really well here: my room was comfortable, with no street noise, and the hotel is in a quiet part of town while still being central. The bed was comfortable too. The reception staff were extremely helpful, spoke good English and German, and could provide a map. Breakfast was plentiful, especially the tasty scrambled eggs, and there was freshly ground espresso. Wi-Fi worked well at 10 Mbps even on the second floor. My room had a large LCD TV with more than 200 channels, including English and German ones, plus a fridge. Drinks at reception were fairly cheap. Very good value, and I could walk everywhere from the town-center location.

Really good value, with a convenient location a short walk from the old city center and the bus or train. The rooms were clean, the staff were excellent, and breakfast was fresh with good coffee. The Wi-Fi worked in my room, and the big TV had lots of channels, with optional English and German audio.
