This campsite has potential, but a few things made the stay frustrating. Gunfire from a shooting range behind the site carried on through the morning. Agricultural vehicles also started up and drove out early, making a lot of noise. Then in the evening, someone released what seemed to be anti-mosquito smoke among the visitors without warning us or explaining what it was or whether it was safe to breathe.

A pleasant campsite and a good base for visiting Gyor.

We’ve stayed here a number of times and I’d recommend it. The rooms are clean, the service is full, and the staff are friendly. The owner is especially kind.

Anna was very helpful, and the big yard with its lovely trees and dogs was a real plus. We could have breakfast outside in Jóiső, and there’s a large dining room for bad weather. Breakfast is available, and the price is very reasonable. We came to Vênek for a dog program with friends, and everyone was happy with the stay. Our two-bed room upstairs had plenty of space for us and our dog, despite the website describing the rooms as small. It was spotless and had a bathroom and refrigerator. The house is easy to get to and has a huge private parking area, though you can hear traffic from the nearby main road.
