We found our perfect guesthouse in Gyula and will book it whenever we come back. The neighborhood is quiet, and it's close to the beach, with a short, pleasant walk to the beautiful center. Check-out is late enough that there's no need to get up early. The small place is welcoming and just right for two. Everything was clean, the little kitchen had what we needed, the bed was comfortable, and the terrace was lovely. Although it was cold outside at night, the room stayed warm and pleasant.

We stayed for 3 nights, 2 adults and 2 children, and would recommend the place. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the helpful owner was great. It has a full-on retro style that works nicely with the modern design.

We stayed for 2 nights with my partner. The terrace was a nice place to unwind in the fresh air, and the location made it easy to reach many attractions on foot. The apartment was easy to get to, the owner was very nice and helpful, and both the room and bathroom were clean and well equipped.
