VANÍLIA Apartman

The whole house, the hotel, was really appealing to me. We got five beds for three people, and the location was good, close to everything. Even as an adult, I enjoyed the room walls a bit more than my children did. Our room’s TV didn’t work, unfortunately, but it was very clean.

We spent three nights in the berry and doll apartment. It had plush toys and two dolls, but I’d expected something like a berry and doll board game, and for the figures to show up in a few more places. The children did love the outdoor playground. The adult bed was very uncomfortable, and the pillows need replacing. The host was very kind and suggested places to eat nearby, but the recommended bakery was empty for two mornings and the restaurants were quite expensive, so unfortunately we couldn’t use the half-board. When we arrived, we also noticed mold on the bathroom tiles and a loose tap.

The hosts were really welcoming, and for the price it felt like a very good choice.

The location worked well, and we could leave our bikes in the yard. The rest of the stay was disappointing. When we arrived, the fridge wasn't working. I reported it, but nothing changed during our three nights there. We were told to put the things that needed cooling in the freezer, which wasn't much help. The shower was right beside the toilet, with no curtain or enclosure, so the whole floor got wet after every shower. Cleaning seemed rushed: there was hair, dust, and cobwebs around. Apart from salt, there wasn't any equipment or supplies. The duvet and pillow inside the clean covers were stained. The towels were only hand-towel size, and there were no hooks or hangers anywhere to put them. There wasn't a toilet paper holder either.
