Hotel Atlantis

We keep coming back as a family because we love this hotel. It’s right in the middle of Hajdúszoboszló, and the service is phenomenal. Everyone was lovely and ready to help, from the polite, friendly waiters to the kind cleaners. The masseurs are talented, too. There wasn’t a thing wrong with our stay, and the food was delicious with loads of choice. If you want a few luxurious days, I can’t recommend it enough. A must!

The spa was nice, though not very big and it can get crowded. Most of the saunas were closed, and the main pool could use a metal bar to hold onto while in the water. The rooms had air conditioning, but you couldn’t fully control it or switch it off from the room. The mattress was comfortable, but the pillows weren’t. Rooms could be cleaner, especially the walls; for a 4-star hotel, it sometimes didn’t feel like one. Still, we had a great stay and I’d most likely come again if I got the chance, despite the fairly high price and room for improvement. Staff were friendly, spoke English and communicated well. Breakfast and dinner buffets had lots of options and generous portions, though oddly, water wasn’t free with one dinner and had to be bought. Hungarospa and the upside down house are both close and worth a visit.

A clean, nice hotel with helpful staff. The pools were great, and so was the restaurant.

The location made it easy to stroll into the centre, with bars and cafes nearby. We enjoyed coffee and cake in the afternoon, then had dinner from the buffet. The room was comfortable, especially the bed and pillows. A lovely spa and wellness area too, with a pool, jacuzzi, mineral bath, and massages you can order.
