The mountains were awesome, the food was good, and the staff were kind. There were a few minor issues with the apartment.

We stayed for two nights last August, and it was awful. The photos on szallas.hu look quite nice, but what we got was nowhere near what we’d booked. The apartment was large, but only the hall had a window. The other rooms opened into each other, and the whole place was dark, dusty, and smelled bad. There was carpet laid over carpet, the shower head sprayed in every direction, and the kitchen had hardly any equipment. I really didn’t like it. Breakfast was available for 6,000 francs per person per meal, but we didn’t try it, so I can’t comment on it. Parking was awkward too. Cars had to be parked one behind another in the yard, so if yours was at the back, you had to wait for everyone to get up and move theirs before you could leave. When we paid, the gentleman said he’d email the bill. He never did. As for the very positive reviews, I don’t know what to say. I do think the room shown in the photos exists, and those reviewers may have actually got that one.
