At 8,000 HUF per night, plus the local tax and the air-conditioning fee, the price really doesn't match the service. The house has four apartments but only one kitchen, with a table for six even though there are at least eight people staying there. The refrigerator is in the hallway and shared by two apartments. The Wi-Fi barely works, nine times out of ten it doesn't. The attic room gets hot, yet air conditioning costs 1,500 per day. There's no separate remote for it, so you have to use the TV remote. The room walls are dirty and stained, as if they haven't been painted in about ten years, and there are huge cobwebs in the corners. A stained, dirty carpet covers the whole room, and the sheet has holes. The balcony-door curtain is twice too long and drags on the floor, while the room window is covered by a curtain over only half of it. The front door has to be lifted to open. The bathroom is tiny, with a broken little mirror and barely any space. There's no clothesline or soap, and the only place to put things is a rickety chair. Men have to stand at a right angle to pee. The towel provided is only hand-towel size. The bathroom door doesn't shut properly, and drafts slammed it during the night, waking us up.
