Dráva Hotel Thermal Resort

The staff are kind, breakfast is really good, and the rooms look nice. The hotel is close to four-star quality, but there are a couple of things I’d change. You can ask reception for a router to plug into your room because WiFi isn’t available there directly, but the connection is very limited, around 2Mb/s download. For a resort hotel rated four stars, I expected a proper TV. The plastic 18" screen on the desk isn’t even visible from the bed, and I wouldn’t call it a monitor. I have one 10" bigger at home. People come to spa hotels to rest, so a minimum 32" TV in every room seems like a basic expectation. The other issue is the spa. The water had a lot of chloride, though it was still a nice option. Closing it at 8pm is ridiculous. I can see that keeping it open might mean hiring another person, rather than asking one person to work 12 hours, but a four-star hotel’s spa shouldn’t close at 8pm. As it is, you have to choose between dinner and the spa, or between swimming and going out in the afternoon. Apart from those issues, I think it’s a good choice, and I strongly recommend the hotel makes these changes.

The staff were really friendly, and we had a fun family bowling game. The place was nice, the food was good, and we enjoyed the spa too.

The only letdown was the bed: it was two single beds pushed together instead of a double. Apart from that, everything was beautiful, from the food and pool-spa to the staff. An ideal hotel for hedonists, and I can't compare it with other hotels in this location.
