Amadeus Villa

We had a great stay. The hosts were very kind, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. Thank you very much! :)

The restaurant is nicely done, and breakfast was plentiful. Our simple room had a bathroom and fridge, plus a bathtub where a shower would have been better. There was a fan, which helped us get through the warm night. The beds felt a bit hard, though that's a matter of taste, and the hostess was nice. The place could use some renovation. The upper area could work well, but there's only one table with a bench, and the overhead lighting can't be switched on, which would add atmosphere and light. Downstairs feels a little neglected too, as if you're only meant to come here to sleep.

The breakfast was generous and tasty, and the little dining room has a warm, thoughtfully decorated feel. Our room was clean and neat, too. The villa sits on a friendly, quiet street, with plenty of parking across from the downtown accommodation. If you want a fairly priced stay with a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere, I’d happily recommend Amadeus villa. On a sunny day, save time to sit on the big terrace with tea or coffee.

The room we were first given was cold, and something in the toilet kept running. We called the number we’d been given, but it took about an hour for him to answer. He was kind once he did, and moved us to another room. That one felt very retro, and the full-length mirrors were pretty unsettling to me. Breakfast was okay.
