We were glad we only stayed for a weekend. For three people, we got a single-room apartment with a double bed and an extra bed that was stained and so uncomfortable I didn't want to look at it. The dishes were stored under the sink, where dirty dishwater dripped onto them, and the kitchen supplies were poor. After showering, I felt dirtier than before. Calling this place Superior sounds like something from a fairy tale. They charge plenty for very little, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We booked one night for five people through szállás.hu, with changes allowed without penalty until August 1. On July 28 I called to reduce the party by one, and even offered to pay the five-person price for the four of us to avoid any trouble. The owner said they didn't offer one-night stays and claimed they'd already argued several times with szállás.hu about allowing bookings of at least two nights. He asked me to call back the next evening so we could work something out. I called, and he said four of us could stay in one room. Since the misunderstanding wasn't our fault, I asked for a discount. He offered 15%, which I accepted. Then, at 2 p.m. on the day of the stay, the 6th, he called to say there'd supposedly been a major burst pipe and no repair specialist could come, so he couldn't accommodate us. He suggested we look elsewhere, but offered no help sorting it out, though the problem wasn't ours. He'd promised to return our 10% deposit that day. Six days later, it still hadn't arrived. It seems clear to me that he got a larger booking and cancelled ours to make room. Everyone I told thought the same. I also contacted szállás.hu customer service. They said they'd investigate and explained that the owner can set the minimum booking length. So he blamed szállás.hu too, as if none of it were his fault. I don't recommend him.

Dirty, sticky, and stained, with a pretty run-down feel. I can't see how anyone came up with the Superior and Deluxe labels. We wouldn't stay here again even if we were paid to.

The rooms are simple and clean, and the price feels fair. The kitchen isn't stocked with much, but it has what you need, including a fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster.
