The owner was wonderfully polite and friendly. On our first day, she showed us around town, explained things, and shared lots of useful tips. She was ready to help with everything, from free bikes to robes for the lake, which came in handy since it was windy for most of our stay. Villa Maria is on a clean, quiet street near Heviz Lake. We were welcomed with a chilled bottle of sparkling wine, and enjoyed fast free WiFi, a large kitchen with everything we needed, two newly furnished bedrooms in the family apartment, and a big balcony. We could hear birds singing from the windows in the morning. We'd definitely come back.

We were really pleased with the accommodation, which was nice and clean, and the service was as helpful as could be. The thermal swimming pool is about a 7-minute walk away. The water park, dino park, and Balaton are all within a 15-minute drive, so there's something for both children and adults.
