Flora Villa

The place was clean and tidy, and we had a separate toilet and kitchen. There were several issues, though. One of the two lamps above the bed had a faulty connection, and the other didn’t work at all. The shower cabin handle was loose, and the bathroom light started flickering after a while. One chair was odd: when I sat on it, its screws fell out. On the second-to-last day, someone came into our room to turn off the air conditioning without telling us, even though they had my contact details and could have let me know. Then on our last day, they told us to switch it off and open the balcony door in the evening. If I’m paying for a service, I think I should be able to use it.

There was room for four cars in the yard, and we had wonderful views from the windows and terraces. We came for one night as a group of ten adults and one child, meeting friends from Esztergom, Lőrinci, Budapest and its surroundings, and Hódmezővásárhely for a house party with our dear S.Nagy István Award-winning Singer/Jáger Gyula Friend. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. The host was flexible, too. We’d have stayed longer if we could, and we’ll gladly return when the chance comes. We had a teenager with us, and even he felt right at home. The good air and quiet made for long, peaceful sleep. The terrace had a wonderful view day and night, and there are lovely long walks nearby. At sunset, a hot air balloon passed over the houses. The apartment is well equipped, clean, and has a modern kitchen. Although our south-facing room could get warm, the air conditioning came on automatically, so the room was cool by the time we got back from the beach. Lake Hévíz is within walking distance, though we drove, and parking was well organized. We’ll come back.

The area is beautiful, and we had a great week here with my daughters. The accommodation was comfortable enough and well equipped. Thanks for having us!
