The terrace never felt available to us because someone was always using it, and the shared kitchen was constantly occupied too. We couldn't even sit down to eat a hot meal, with people going back and forth all the time. At night, the bed creaked whenever we moved, so we didn't get any rest. The little room had badly stained, dirty parquet, and the bathroom wasn't clean either. We were greeted warmly, but the landlord seemed to care most about getting paid, as if we couldn't unpack before that. It didn't feel like a friendly place.

We started and finished each day on the balcony, having breakfast there in the morning and sitting out again in the evening. It's shared by four rooms, but even when the place was full, it never bothered us. The rooms were neat and had everything we needed, and we found the shared kitchen perfectly fine too. The welcome was really friendly, and the view is lovely. The owner can take guests sailing if they want; we went, and it was a great experience. Good value and a warm place to stay. We'd come back to Hévíz.

For anyone traveling with a dog, I'd recommend the Bigyó apartment here. The hosts are lovely, and air conditioning is included at no extra charge. The owner also offers the chance to go sailing.

The guesthouse is about a ten-minute walk from the city center. We stayed in May with our family and two small dogs, and had a spacious, clean house with good equipment. The dogs were able to use the yard, too. The owner was kind and helpful throughout. We'd definitely return.

We spent three lovely days here and are planning to come back next year. It's peaceful, with a beautiful view, and the rooms were very clean. The owner was helpful, too. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet break.
