The area has so much to see, and I was amazed by the variety of birds roaming freely. It’s a lovely, quaint place with friendly staff, and a great escape from city chaos and the daily rush. You can see absolutely everything.

The rooms are generous in size and the beds were comfortable, though I didn’t find the bathroom very convenient. We also couldn’t use the balconies because they needed a better clean and were smeared with bird droppings. As an ornithology enthusiast, I’ll admit I noticed that! Still, we had a very pleasant stay at this beautiful complex on the edge of Hortobágy. The green grounds, with characteristic Puszta buildings and objects, are lovely.

We only came across the place again recently while booking accommodation, and it brought back one of the most unpleasant situations I’ve experienced. Our wedding was planned for 2019 at your venue. We’d agreed on the main details, but when we had more questions, getting answers was very difficult, or there was no response. Then, 3.5 months before the wedding, you canceled the venue we’d already agreed on. By then, we’d signed contracts with all our other service providers and discussed everything with the registrar. The cancellation left us with a lot of extra work, stress, and nervousness. We were only trying to get our questions answered, but you weren’t willing to do that. Because of this, my experience of the place and its service is entirely negative. I didn’t have time to write a review at the time, so I’m writing now. The place where we eventually held the wedding was much kinder and more helpful, even with so little time to prepare. We coordinated by phone and email and met in person several times. They had no problem with our questions. We wanted the day to work for us in every way, and we were trying to make sure our guests and we would feel good and that the wedding would be as we imagined. I hope this makes sense. What we received from you was a huge disappointment. Dear Ferenc, Google reviews are for people to share their opinions about a place. I’ve left both positive and negative reviews in the past, so I don’t understand your last sentence. You pointed out only that “you have rated several locations as undesirable in the past” and said, “It seems to me that places always and everywhere go against you.” I’ve also rated several places positively, but you didn’t mention those. Please tell me specifically which part of my account was untrue or defamatory, because I really don’t understand what’s happening now.

Peaceful and quiet, with comfortable, air-conditioned rooms. It’s a lovely guesthouse and seems well suited to family gatherings and weddings, with the registrar able to come to the venue. I highly recommend it.
