The countryside setting was great, and I felt safe there. I was on my motorcycle, so the secure parking lot was especially useful. The room had both a fan and a heater, and the bed was really comfortable. I have back pain, so having pillows in different sizes was a thoughtful touch. There were dogs around too, which I liked, and I imagine they might help keep trouble away. I booked while passing through and got a very competitive price. When I arrived at 9:30 PM, a friendly woman showed me the room and shared kitchen. I couldn't get the door to lock, though I don't know if I had the wrong key or was doing it incorrectly. It didn't really bother me, since the place felt safe. Body wash would have been handy, but hand soap was fine for a quick shower. A very positive stay for me.

The hosts were kind and ready to help with everything. There are several lovely guesthouses across a large plot, which seems ideal for birthdays or getting family and friends together.

The shared kitchen was spacious and well equipped, with several fridges and two long tables. Our host was friendly and helpful, and the terrace outside the rooms had very comfortable seating. It was peaceful and quiet around there. My partner and I stayed for two nights because we wanted to swim across Lake Balaton. Balatonboglár was about a 30-minute drive away. There was a fan in our room, and luckily the summer weather was pleasant, around 25-30 degrees, so evenings weren't too hot. I'd recommend it to couples, and it also seems like a great option for a larger family or group of friends.
