Mediterrán Vendégház

The guesthouse made my three week work trip easy. The staff and management were incredibly kind and helpful, and contacting them was straightforward. They replied very quickly in perfect English. I was traveling alone, and the room felt spacious and suited my stay well. Having my own bathroom and a mini fridge was a big relief, and even in winter I was never cold. The guesthouse is right in the heart of Kecskemét, close to pretty much everything. I also felt safe there, with a gate, several doors between the entrance and my room, and floodlights always on at night. The only issues I ran into came from other guests being loud late at night or leaving dirty dishes and kitchens after cooking. The cleaning staff somehow got the kitchen spotless again every morning. The price seemed more than fair. A colleague recommended the place to me, and I’ll recommend it to others too.

We’d happily come back. The prices were good, the patio was lovely, and the place was easy to get around on foot. We also liked the clean rooms, communal kitchen, welcoming staff, and colorful exterior. Kecskemet is a beautiful town.

A clean, cozy place close to the centre, with friendly people and good prices. The walls are the weak point: they’re so thin you can hear someone showering a few rooms away.

The hosts were friendly and very helpful, and the location is great, almost in the centre with restaurants nearby. It’s good value, though the walls are paper thin and the beds were uncomfortable and squeaky.
