The city center is close, and the beach is about a 15-minute walk down one street. There’s plenty of gear for cooking and grilling, and the tennis court is fine. We also enjoyed the table tennis. My only gripe is the extra charge for air conditioning, which felt a bit unusual.

We love coming back to Abszolut Vendeghaz. The owners are especially lovely, the rooms are clean and pleasant, and breakfast is great. It’s our favorite place in Hungary, and this wasn’t our first visit or our last. :-) Peter, Gabriela and Anežka

There’s a big yard with plenty to do, including balls, a scooter, tennis, ping-pong and badminton, and it’s close to Castle Park. Our room had space for three, towels were changed regularly, and trash was taken out each day. Breakfast was included and had a good variety. The hosts were kind.

The jacuzzi was a lovely way to end the day. The hosts were kind and helpful, and the location was good. Our room felt cozy and was clean, and the buffet breakfast was generous.

We had a long weekend as a couple, right in central Keszthely, and the courtyard parking was especially handy in the paid parking area. The place is simple and doesn’t offer a lot of extras, but the room had what we needed: a big bed, comfy sofa, fridge and basic bathroom. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful, and the hosts were very kind and helpful. The bikes were well looked after, and there’s even a garden jacuzzi. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it does the job well.
