The room seemed to have been renovated recently, and it was clean. I had Wi-Fi, though I had to test a few different accounts before finding one that worked. The place felt safe to sleep in, but little beyond that. I understand the earlier upset reviews if you’ve come straight from a well-serviced hotel and expect the same here. There was someone at check-in, but I couldn’t find her at checkout when I needed help getting a taxi to the station. It’s tricky to reach from the train station if you’re not renting a car. Also, the breakfast place was closed for the week. I wish I’d known before booking, since I would have chosen somewhere else.

Parking was useful, and the air conditioning in my room worked. The rooms were spacious and clean, but Wi-Fi didn’t reach all of them, probably because the upstairs rooms were far from the router. The TV needed a code, and no one was around to help with that. The pool appeared to be covered and empty, so we couldn’t use it. I couldn’t see any coffee available, either. When I went looking for help during our stay, I did so many times, but nobody was around and it was a waste of time. For what we got, it wasn’t very good value for money.

A good spot to rest while travelling, for example on the way to Croatia, or just to stay near Balaton lake.

We appreciated the electric mosquito repellent, there were so many mosquitoes at once that I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that many in my life 😅. The rooms were cozy, with bathrooms and air conditioning. There’s a shared kitchen and balcony, plus parking. The city center and Balaton are within walking distance. Check-in and check-out were contactless. Nice place for an overnight stop.
