The beds were comfortable, there was hot water in the showers, and the kitchen had dishes, pots and pans, plus a gas stove. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the price was good. The interior is a little retro, though the door locks only worked sometimes. The owner doesn’t speak English, only German, but she’s cheerful and communication was possible. The beach is about 200 meters away, while the main beach and pier are roughly 1-1.5 km away. The castle and old town are about 2-2.5 km away. A train passes a few dozen meters from the house, but the noise didn’t bother us much. The apartment is set farther back on the property, so at first we weren’t sure we had the right address. A sign from the street would help.
