The wooden cabin was pleasant enough for four, and the thermal baths themselves are wonderful and feel healing. But the cabin was extremely dusty. We swept and mopped the floors ourselves, and it looked as though that had never been done, except in the bathroom. Just cleaning the living room floor turned up a whole pile of sand. The front office staff were kind and helpful, though the cabins cost far too much for what you get. The kitchen had a few basics, but was missing a lot of what you'd need to cook comfortably.

The warm outdoor thermal pool is gorgeous and relaxing, even in winter. It's frustrating that the facilities don't seem to have kept up with how popular the place is. In the cold, there's a serious shortage of hooks or shelves for towels, and if you arrive at a regular time, finding a lounger or chair feels impossible. Changing rooms and food stalls mean long queues too. There are only around 7-8 changing rooms on each side. The indoor pools get so packed that we always skip them. We brought our own water and ate beforehand, and you may need to keep your towel by the pool. The water is lovely, but the setup feels like a time capsule, with little seeming to have changed in 10 years.

I only visited the thermal baths and swimming pools, so I can't comment on the hotel. The facilities are somewhat dated, though there are lots of different pools and places to relax in the water. There were some people around, but it didn't feel overcrowded. I visited in the third week of September, so it might be a different experience in high season. If you're nearby and want to unwind in the water, it's worth a visit.

I come from Spain once or twice most winters, and after a year of work this is what I look forward to. My wife and I get so much relaxation out of it, especially in the outdoor thermal pool, which feels absolutely heavenly. This place just feels really special.

There was loads of room to spread out, set down a towel, or take a walk around. The staff were nice, and our room in the "panzio" was very clean. The aqua park was clean too. We had a really good time, with warm water and a beautiful lake. It was a very pleasant visit, and I strongly recommend it.
