It was a bit too warm to explore more, though there was always plenty of cold drinking water from the public fountains. The coffee was very good everywhere and relatively inexpensive. We enjoyed our two days in Vienna, seeing some interesting cultural sights, then went on to beautiful Budapest, which I'd highly recommend. The city center was easy to reach by train and bus, and there was shopping nearby, including a supermarket called Hofer, the Austrian equivalent of Aldi. Einsiedlerplatz reminded me of Berlin's Wedding district. The entrance was hard to find. Outside, the building looked like a construction site, the front door was inconspicuous, and there was no house number on it, just on another door. There was no name either, so the small electronic keypad was the only clue to the apartment entrance. 😔 Inside, the newly renovated apartment was very modern and well equipped, with new beds. The shared kitchen had everything, including a coffee machine. Toilets and showers were clean, but the shower doors didn't seal properly. There were no hooks in the shower or entryway, and a stool and more hooks for clothes and towels would have helped.

The apartment was cozy and very nice, with everything equipped to meet our needs.

The oven wouldn't open all the way.
