We had a private double room with its own bathroom, and it was great. The sheets were clean, and there was a kitchen and an elevator too. The hostel is downtown, within walking distance of all the tube stations. For cleanliness and location, it’s just what you need in Budapest. The staff speak fluent English and are very polite. One of the best choices you can make.

We were ten and had a big room on the 4th floor. The location was good, and the friendly reception staff were helpful. Shared bathrooms weren't an issue since there were plenty, though only one of the men's toilets had a lock. Toilet roll was often missing, but we could usually find some in another cubicle. There was also a small kitchen on every floor.

The room on the 4th floor was spacious, with a couple of desks and a big window that opened all the way. Some might call that dangerous, but in 37 degree heat it was a godsend. This 'cool' hostel has a good location and a nice social feel. We met some of the nicest people of our whole trip here, and the staff were friendly. The showers and bathrooms were basic, but perfectly usable. The main drawback was the poor wifi, so keep that in mind if being online matters to you, though in my opinion it shouldn't when travelling.

For backpackers, it's a fine hostel, and the location is awesome. It does seem to have lost some of its former glory, though. The beds are all Ikea Tromsö, and you have to wear a red paper wristband to get into the hostel.

Cheap and easy, with a good location. It wasn't noisy, and all the guests were nice. The WiFi is free, though not the best. The windows are really low, so if you're drunk you could easily fall out.
