Harangtorony Szálló

The location is top rated, and everything felt clean and fresh. The receptionists, cooks, and housekeepers were all so kind and friendly. Thanks for hosting!

Really great!

The breakfast was delicious, with a good selection and especially good quality juices. The friendly kitchen ladies quickly refilled anything that ran out, which I really appreciated. The bathroom blocks were also a standout: they were so clean and high quality that they felt more like what you’d expect in a 4-star hotel. The rooms were fresh, fragrant, and tidy, with crisp linens, and the atmosphere was friendly and informal. This is a clean, friendly little hostel with very good value, right by the historic center of Kőszeg. There are lots of options for excursions in the Kőszeg Mountains. We rented bicycles at the Castle Circle, including electric ones, and twice rode across to Austria and the thousand-year-old border, 28km + return. We were lucky to stay here four times in the past year, so I feel my opinion is well founded. No wonder we’ve come back so often :-)

We stayed one weekday night and had a great experience. It was clean and tidy, and they kindly provided a double bowl for our little dog. There’s a wide breakfast selection, and the people were kind. The room also had a hairdryer, small and large towels, shower gel, shampoo, and exit towels ready in the shower tray. It’s rated 2 stars, but deserves more. I recommend it to everyone!
