Pension Heidi

There was a lot of noise, and the place wasn't very clean. The windows had no proper blinds, there was no shower soap, and the only towel supplied was a small hand towel. Breakfast wasn't really good, either. No one speaks Hungarian.

It was okay.

The synthetic bedding made it hard to sleep, and the owner only spoke German, not English or Hungarian. We were charged 10 euros for our dog, which wasn't mentioned in the description and wasn't put on the bill. When we left, the owner made a point of inspecting the room, something I'd never seen before. Reception was supposed to close at 8 PM. We'd called ahead to say we'd be seven minutes late, but were refused entry when we got there at 8:03 PM. The owner was still sitting around drinking wine with other guests, and stayed there until midnight. She seemed unhappy we'd arrived at all. A very unfriendly owner.

I can't understand how this place has lasted with such hospitality. The host was so rude he wouldn't say anything, even when we left the front door unlocked while staying right next to him. He showed kindness only to Germans and acted almost like a witch with everyone else. I won't even get into how clean the accommodation was. We'll definitely never go back!
