Lilaakác Panzió

We arrived without a reservation and found this place. The owner and his wife welcomed us warmly. Only a bunk bed room was available, which suited us for one night. It had just been cleaned and was very clean, and the bathroom was clean and met our needs. Towels were provided. The owner spoke some German, and his wife knew some English. You can request breakfast from the owner, including coffee with goat’s milk and goat’s cheese from his goats. There’s a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals, and a private terrace where you can eat. Very reasonably priced, and I’d recommend it.

My husband and I stayed at the guesthouse for five days, and we can warmly recommend it. Our hosts were honest, kind people, and my husband, who has a disability, was completely satisfied. We enjoyed the garden and the other facilities we used. Breakfast was tasty and varied every day, with a wonderful country style spread and especially delicious goat cheeses. The Hagymatikum in Makó is about 8 km away. In Makó, we recommend Ételbár at Deák Ferenc u. 16. They cook very well, the portions are large, and prices are low. We recommend it wholeheartedly. If you enjoy real rural tourism, I’d recommend this place. It has a proper family atmosphere and a wonderful host. The surroundings are lovely, and breakfast has everything you need. The goat cheese was our favourite. Don’t skip breakfast! We’ve definitely not stayed here for the last time. Five stars, and I recommend it to everyone.
