The sauna was really relaxing, and there are also pools for swimming and oil baths if you want to unwind. The rooms were good, and it was very good value for the price.

The staff were helpful everywhere, but I wasn't very impressed with the rest. The rooms are spacious, though very basic, and the saunas are small. Breakfast wasn't healthy and had hardly any options for vegetarians. The restaurant has a typical Eastern European feel. For nearly the same price, there are much better places to stay in Western Europe.

I really liked the different sauna options and the places to rest. The wellness area was clean and peaceful, and the staff there looked after guests nicely.

The restaurant was a bright spot. Its meals were very good, above average for this part of the country, and the furniture was comfortable. The restaurant staff were kind, friendly, and helpful, as were the hotel staff. They said the internet problems had been raised with management many times over the past few years without any effect, and seemed as flexible as they could be. I appreciated that, but I was disappointed with my first stay at this hotel in Martfu. A few inexpensive improvements could make a big difference. The hotel has outdoor and indoor public pools, and local pools have had many upgrades over the past 10-15 years. Hotel guests can use those pools, with access included in the accommodation, but there are no pools reserved just for them. A swim cap is theoretically required, though most guests didn't wear one and staff didn't seem to check. There are various saunas and salt chambers for hotel guests, and the fitness room is decent, with bodybuilding machines, free weights, and treadmills. My “superior” room felt low quality, with uncomfortable furniture. I wouldn't recommend it for business travel. From the room, my business grade devices couldn't connect to any of the hotel's open networks. Signal was very weak in a few spots near the corridor, and even when connected there was no internet. The round-shaped bedroom was worse because of its thick walls. The only speed I could get was 2/0.5 M in the bathroom. The air conditioning only serves the outer part of the room. The round-shaped bedroom has just a fancoil, which couldn't bring the temperature below 26 degrees Celsius even after hours. There are no mosquito nets on the windows, so opening them during hot summer nights isn't really an option. I also saw waiters setting tables and touching all the cutlery with bare hands, right where diners put it in their mouths. I think it may have been inexperience, but disinfecting the cutlery might be wise, especially for toddlers or small children. Safe keys have to be requested at reception rather than being provided automatically. I believe all the rooms have furniture safes, but they're extremely small, perhaps enough for a smartphone, wallet, and keys, but not a laptop or notebook. I can't give it more stars at this point. I can imagine it being a much better stay for someone travelling for leisure, who doesn't need reliable broadband and enjoys public swimming pools.
