I didn’t get my sparkling water, though the hot chocolate was good.

After a long mountain walk, this is a great spot to unwind. A big plus for us was that dogs are welcome.

Everything was working and looked fine, including the hot water in the showers. The place is modern and simple, but still looks nice, and the prices are fair. It offers support rooms, mixed shared rooms, tents, an apartment house, and a bivouac up at the lookout tower. You can also get 200ft coins changed for the tower. Most of the staff were friendly, though the man taking orders at the restaurant was annoying, unhelpful, and not friendly. The restaurant was okay, but when we visited they were recovering from COVID and had a lot of guests, so only a third of the food was available. Their workers’ smoking spot right beside the outdoor restaurant tables was VERY annoying. I’d recommend the place.

We stopped for dinner at this tourist center in Galyatető. The portions were generous and delicious, and you can pay by credit card. I wouldn’t recommend the blue beer.

Drinks were overpriced, and the glasses and plates were dirty. They add a 10% service charge even though there’s no table service, you have to place your order at the bar.
