Leaving this place was awful.

Kriszti and his family are incredibly kind and do everything to make guests comfortable. It’s a peaceful, family-friendly dream spot, tucked away but right at the gates of the Bükk, so you can explore if you want an active break. Everything you need to relax is there too. 🤗🤗🤗

The hosts were so kind and attentive, and I especially enjoyed the little book Krisztina wrote and left at the guesthouse. Her lyrical side comes through in it, and reading it made our stay feel personal and unique. I liked spotting references to poems and stories tucked around the house. It really felt like the place had a soul, with objects that told stories. My husband and I spent 3 nights there at the end of December and had a wonderful time. The natural surroundings are lovely, with a stream at the end of the cozy garden, and the sauna was a lovely extra for relaxing. The house was spotless, cozy, and unusually well-equipped. We had everything we needed and more, especially compared with other guesthouses we know. The only small downside was occasional street noise, though we didn't hear it at night. It didn't take away from the experience. We'd love to return and warmly recommend it to anyone after a cozy, refined place near nature.

The host pays extraordinary attention to running the place, and the location is perfect. The yard is tidy and cozy, while the Szinva River rushes at the far end, with lovely lights at night. For my family and me, it was 1000/1000. Highly recommended!
