Zenit Panzió

This is an awful place. Some years ago, I saw an older woman there who needed to use the washroom urgently, but the staff wouldn’t let her. The receptionist said, “We don’t have a toilet.” She was surprised because she could see there was a restaurant inside, but the receptionist still refused. There are tons of washrooms there, so she lied. I didn’t book anything at the place anyway. I’ve also heard plenty of other awful things about it, but I don’t have time to write out all those disgusting details now.

The room was tidy and the staff were kind, and it was a lovely place to stay. The walls are quite thin in some spots, though, so you might hear the neighbors arguing or having intimate moments without meaning to. I’ll bring headphones next time.

The staff are absolute stars, so caring and helpful. From arrival, we got such a warm, smiley welcome, and they really went out of their way to make us feel at home. When they found out I’m of Turkish origin and don’t eat pork, they surprised me with a Turkish delicacy and a really nice vegetarian breakfast. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of room, and clean. It’s a short walk to the famous cave bath, and the nature walks are lovely. You can walk or take a short drive to lots of restaurants. It’s a safe, quiet place, and we’ll definitely come back.
