The spa was absolutely great, just a few metres through the garden from the hotel, which was no problem at all. The jacuzzi was good too, and the massage from that guy was really great. My room was clean and nice, the bed comfortable, and I slept well. Most of the staff were helpful, and there was enough food in the restaurant, which was okay. The hotel also works with a taxi company, which helped since it’s farther from the train station. The driver who took me back wasn’t very friendly, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. I was a bit unlucky with my room, which was beside the stairs where there’s a table game. In the evenings I could hear other guests playing, so I couldn’t get to sleep as early as I wanted. I like Hungary in general, and I’d choose this hotel again if I come back for the spa. Thanks for your service :)

They’ve made a lot of improvements, but my latest visit was still a bit disappointing. The thermal pools were dirty and the water wasn’t very hot, while the bubble jets weren’t working. The entry fee feels too high for the service you get.

I go to the spa regularly, but I haven’t stayed at the hotel. The water and spa are excellent. The problem is the visitors. There are too many pensioners from Czech Republic, and it’s hard to find space in the thermal pool or somewhere to relax.

We only went for the spa, not the hotel, and it was a big disappointment. In winter there isn’t much happening. There’s one large swimming pool and a smaller indoor one. I think there were meant to be different jacuzzi options and water attractions, but only one was working when we visited. It ran about every 30 minutes, and only four people could enjoy it at a time. There were also two small, warm outdoor pools, but in the freezing weather nobody could stay in them for long. Most people wound up in the one hot pool for relaxing. We were lucky to visit in the evening, when it had started to quiet down.

You could easily spend several days here and still feel entertained and wonderfully rested. There are eight pools, including two medical ones, and the hottest pools are especially relaxing, with elegant new gold tiles. The biggest pools are 25 metres long, with lanes for experienced swimmers. There are plenty of sunbeds indoors and out, and the entrance fee is reasonable. One of Hungary’s top places.
