The breakfast service was shocking. A blonde woman was rude and unfriendly when we came down in the morning. The room also had dust that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and there was no toilet paper. We won't return after service like this. We stayed with family for one night, August 14-15, 2025. I booked through Booking just two hours before check-in and had a confirmation, but at reception a tattooed man said there were no rooms. They eventually found the reservation, though the communication was impolite. Dinner was a bright spot: the goulash-bograch was incredibly tasty, and the waiter without tattoos was polite.

The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good. Our hosts welcomed us warmly even though we arrived late. It made for a relaxing stop on our road trip.

The meal was a pleasant surprise when we stopped for dinner after the spa on our way back. I'm keen to return and try something else. I did miss pumpkin seed oil, which we call “Koščično olje” in Međimurje, and I think others would enjoy having it too. 🇭🇷

The food was great, so I'd recommend eating here, but I wouldn't recommend staying overnight. Our rooms by the stables were spacious and looked nice, yet they weren't clean. The faucet and shower head were in terrible shape, and dust covered the dryer. The towels and sheets were yellowish, worn, and stained. The pillow was uncomfortable, like rags had been stuffed into its case.

The location is beautiful, and I love that the hotel is yellow, my favourite colour. The service was kind and helpful. The rooms, though, were pretty dirty and very hot, and the neighbours made a lot of noise. It was okay for one night, but I wouldn't recommend staying longer.
