There’s plenty of room indoors, and the garden is large enough for bigger groups too. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, with very kind, flexible hosts. A quiet place where everyone should find something they enjoy. *****🙂
The rooms are clean and comfortable, and there’s a well-equipped shared kitchen. It’s in a lovely, quiet setting, with countless hiking options nearby. If it rains, there are sightseeing spots and cave tours to try as well. I wholeheartedly recommend it for families and groups of friends!
We spent a birthday weekend here with a group of friends, and everything went really well. The host was kind and flexible. The house also has a sauna, which made the stay even better.
The area is beautiful and the owner is nice, but the ground-floor apartment could use a proper clean. There were cobwebs, dirty dishes and cutlery. The WiFi kept cutting out, so it wasn’t reliable. The floorboards creak terribly, and with all the noise from upstairs, every movement can be heard. Sneaking to the bathroom without waking your partner is impossible. The combi central heating kept switching on and off during the season. I managed to sleep with earplugs...
It’s a cozy place with tasteful decor and everything well equipped, a real home away from home. Cserkút is beautiful, there are lots of places to visit in the area, and the city center is easy to reach. The peaceful surroundings and extremely kind hosts make it easy to find some quiet here.
