The deer tenderloin was so tender and delicious, with incredible flavors from the potato croquettes and plum sauce. I had it steamed, and it was out of this world. The food was incredible, and the service was great too.

We came just for the restaurant, and the food was great with really generous portions. There were a few too many potatoes for my taste, though.

The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable, so the stay was okay. Reception staff were really friendly. At breakfast, though, the staff weren’t friendly at all, and seemed upset whenever we asked for something. That’s no way to treat guests.

We had secure parking for our motorbike, and it was only a five-minute walk to the town center. The hotel also has a great range of breakfast and dinner options. Excellent stay.

I loved the nostalgic, elegant feel of the restaurant, especially with Hungarian music playing in the background. The beef stew with dumplings and the plum soup with brandy and almonds were the best Hungarian food experience of my stay in Pécs. There’s local wine from the city to try as well.
